Nervous System Healing: What has been bringing you JOY lately lovely one? 💗

For me, it was our first Sunday Goddxx Path Session this weekend! There are 7 of us stepping through the threshold together this year… 6 amazing superstars for 2026, and me! And the magic of the container, the beauty of the questions and conversations… the epic transformation has already begun! 🥰
Nervous system healing is already unfolding as we learn to stay present within it all.
What have I been journeying
Personally, the past month has been quite a difficult journey, so I have been processing it by writing about it… my biggest learning was not to make it mean something about me. This has been a powerful part of my own nervous system healing.
And because it’s a deeply personal one I have shared it only on Substack (at the link above: it is not quite ready yet but if you subscribe you will get notified when it is out). It does come with a content warning about grief and loss, but I am doing ok I promise, and write not for sympathy or advice but because journalling helps me to alchemise the 💩 and because I hope this share can also offer some solace and connection for others going through a similar experience. ❤️
And then, this week, there has been more lessons on the same theme (not making things mean anything about us), and as a result, a profound deepened nervous system understanding both personally and in the container of this amazing alchemical work—deepening my experience of nervous system healing.
In our first Goddxx Path session, I taught about belief-driven nervous system responses. In general, if someone attacks us or our loved ones, we run, or we fight. This is a powerful nervous system survival response that has kept us safe for thousands of years.
But freeze or fawn responses are our body’s way of protecting itself when a threat feels so overwhelming that fighting or fleeing is not possible. These responses are an important part of nervous system healing awareness. Sometimes this threat response stays in the body, and it resurfaces whenever the beliefs (the meaning) we made up at the time get triggered, so for example “I’m not good enough” or “I’m a bad person”…
Then, when that response triggers, we end up spiralling into negative emotions like shame.
During our first session, a situation showed up that could have ended up with people freezing, but rather than that happening, we were able to use the tools we were learning to step back into the energy of love and stay in our hearts… And that is what I love about this work! That it doesn’t just give you the tools for the good times, but to get through the challenges too. 💎
This is the real practice of nervous system healing in action.
It was really beautiful to witness that alchemy happen so quickly in The Goddxx Path container and is such a powerful tool for the world and the world leaders too, because instead of spiralling into defensiveness or self-judgment or labelling other people, we practiced observing it, naming it, and acknowledging that that belief was not what was really going on: this for me is true adulting and I wish Donald Trump would learn it too!
It has helped me recognise so many moments in my own life where I was making things about me and being fragile or defensive when it really was NOT about me, and profound to witness the medicine of The Goddxx Path, already creating the generous ripples of service as all of us within the container stay present and whole instead of turning it into a story about who we are. Nervous system healing supports us to stay in that wholeness.

So tonight, in honour of this journey and alongside the Flower Moon, I invite you to dive deep into what it means for you to stay whole and integrated whilst your nervous system does its thing.
Fear Response:
When you spiral into shame about a belief story, where do you feel it in your body? What beliefs come up? What actions does that inspire?
What would it be like to observe that activation without letting it define you and without doing anything from that energy?
Love response:
Take a moment to connect with your breath and align the 7 points of the body from Root to Crown… Can you feel the breath flowing freely along the pole of the body?
Now ask your heart what do you love? Take some time to be with this list… To write an extensive list… maybe go even further and fill a whole page with what you love…
Now from this energy, ask, what is obvious? What is the true obvious action for you to take when you notice you are in a shame spiral? (Hint: Maybe it’s nothing at all!) 🌕

So this month, I invite you to notice if you go into fawn or freeze and rather than react, to just take a moment to breathe, reframe and realise that perhaps the meaning you are making about what is happening is really not true. This is the essence of nervous system healing.
