What is HOMEostasis?
HOMEostasis is what we call the state of feeling safe enough to rest… held enough to heal.
Our bodies are always moving toward balance. That is their nature. That is your nature.
But if life has been asking a lot of us… if we grew up in environments that felt unsafe… if we have been surviving rather than living… our nervous system can get stuck in stress states without us even knowing.
We stay braced. Alert. Waiting.
HELD is an invitation to begin gently unlearning that.

What is inside
HELD is four gentle movements. You go at your own pace. There is no deadline, no performance, no right way.
Movement 1: Welcome HOME
An introduction to HOMEostasis and what it means to feel safe in your own body. Plus your first homework… a nap.
Movement 2: Come HOME to Your Body
Understanding your nervous system and stress responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn and faint) in warm, accessible language. Journal reflections and a wall gazing practice to begin gently regulating.
Movement 3: Your HOME Toolkit
The heart of the course. Three practices to return you to yourself… the Innocence Meditation, TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) and your personal JOY Box.
Movement 4: Carry HOME Within You
A closing reflection on everything you have learned… and gentle invitations for what comes next when you feel ready.

What is TRE?
TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple series of movements that activate the body’s natural tremoring mechanism… helping to release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.
Animals shake after threat to discharge stress from their systems. We humans have this same capacity. We have just learned to suppress it.
TRE invites the shake back in.
