Finding Joy: What Has Been Bringing You Joy Lately? 😊
I’d truly love to hear… your joy is my joy.
Over the past couple of weeks, it’s been quite a journey for me. But even within that, I’ve been gently returning to finding joy in the small, grounding moments. Two things in particular have held me steady: my amazing husband’s calming, reassuring presence… and the quiet magic of being beside the seaside in Exmouth.
There’s something about the sea that brings clarity, isn’t there? A reminder to breathe, to soften, and to come back home to ourselves.
Finding Joy Through Awareness and Truth
One of the deeper reflections I’ve been sitting with lately is this:
In many personal development spaces, we’re told that things like imposter syndrome or lack of self-belief are purely internal. But that’s not the whole truth.
So much of what we experience is not just personal—it’s systemic.
The conditioning that shapes our beliefs often comes from systems that were designed to benefit certain groups while keeping others small, quiet, or doubting themselves.
So if you’ve ever struggled with self-belief, please know this:
It’s not just you.
And this awareness is powerful—because when we see it clearly, we can begin finding joy again by reclaiming our narratives.
We start to question the stories we’ve been given.
We begin to rewrite them.
We remember who we were before we were taught to shrink.
Daily Practices for Finding Joy and Reconnecting to Yourself
The beautiful thing is that we are not stuck.
We have the ability to rewire our minds, shift our energy, and build a more loving, trusting relationship with ourselves.
Here are the practices I return to daily when I want to anchor back into finding joy:
✨ Journalling – creating space to hear my own voice clearly
✨ Embodied alchemy – moving out of the mind and into the body
✨ Bodywork – releasing stored emotions and tension
✨ Visualisation – allowing myself to imagine new possibilities
✨ Aligned action – showing up even when fear is present
✨ Mindful consumption – being intentional about what I take in and how I speak to myself
These practices aren’t about perfection—they’re about presence.
They’re about choosing, again and again, to return to yourself.
What about you?
What helps you in finding joy?
What brings you back home to who you truly are?
Finding Joy with the New Moon in Aries 🌙
The upcoming New Moon in Aries on 17th April 2026 offers a powerful opportunity for renewal.
Aries is the sign of new beginnings, courage, and self-leadership. It invites us to choose ourselves—to step forward boldly and claim what we truly desire.
This is a beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and set intentions rooted in finding joy and authenticity.
Here are some journal prompts to guide you:
🌟 Where have you been out of integrity or outside of consent with yourself or others this month?
🌟 What would you create if your biggest current block was simply a story?
🌟 What is one aligned action you can take this new moon cycle to be more fully you?
Let yourself answer honestly. Let yourself dream bigger.

A Final Thought on Finding Joy
Finding joy isn’t about waiting for everything to be perfect.
It’s about noticing what is already here.
It’s about reclaiming your voice.
It’s about choosing yourself—again and again.
And even in the midst of challenge, joy is still available to you.
Sometimes softly. Sometimes quietly. But always, always there.
