Blue Moon Transformation & The Meaning We Choose

My JOY this month is that we have 2 full moons, and so a double completion energy!!! How about you… what has been bringing you joy?

The Blue Moon lands this Sunday (May 31st, in perfect alignment with our next Goddxx Path all day session), making this a year of 13 moons… and I am even more excited about the 14 day challenge this December as a 13 moon year!

This Blue Moon Transformation energy has been inviting me into deeper reflection around identity, truth, and possibility.

With that double completion energy, I have been taking a moment to take it all in: the adventures, the challenges, the new beginnings… and to pause before I head to Germany to complete the final part of my Rolfing training next Sunday 7th June (and Sunday is also our 2 year wedding anniversary: wow, time flies!)

This season of Blue Moon Transformation has also had me journeying my evolving identity this month: sometimes it can be hard to allow the unfolding… There has been a bit of resistance and freezing as I let some parts go and felt trapped by some labels… which is synchronous because this moon is all about change and allowing for transformation!

The May theme on The Goddxx Path was The Principle of Mentalism: “Your thoughts create your reality”… and I realised a deeper layer in my own conditioned patterns is that sometimes I still put my focus on going away from what I don’t want (fixing) rather than leaning in to my truth… But as I have leaned in, I have got better at letting go, and it has allowed for a big part of my unfolding in the May metamorphosis.

The Meaning We Choose

Last week, someone on a project said I was heterosexual (without asking), and I noticed this fear… that that box doesn’t fit the whole of me.

I resisted marriage for a long time fearing the label and the construct might shrink my possibility… but I chose to marry a man, and be in a heterosexual relationship for love… And I love our relationship so much! But if I have to have a label, bisexual feels more true.

I swapped back to she/her pronouns this year, not because I feel it tells the whole story of me, but because I found myself aware of the privileges that come with marriage… but my bisexuality is not altered by who I married, and I am intrigued to see how that continues to unfold for me over time… It prompted more questions and musings.

When I was labelled heterosexual, I felt how easily the boxing-in by others happens, and I realised that staying empty of those labels is my inner journey: I hope I can stay outside of them, even within this new structure of marriage, whilst also celebrating the beauty that has unfolded in choosing marriage… And that I can remain whole and sovereign in all the parts of me, without needing to be only one story or identity.

In fact, I feel that my gender itself is not a fixed truth: it is a social and political framework, shaped by centuries of colonialism, power, and conditioning.

The sacred feminine and masculine that we explore throughout this work are not polar opposites locked against each other, but living energies, archetypes, ways of moving through the world that all of us carry regardless of the body we were born into or the labels we have been given or chosen ourselves.

When we unify them within ourselves, we step into our actualisation as pure potential and come home to our true essence and Goddxx-like potential…

The Bridge: Choosing Our Own Meaning

The Blue Moon Transformation energy offers heightened intuition, and a gateway to release old patterns and embrace new possibilities.

It is a brilliant time for deep personal transformation and shadow work… to confront and integrate aspects of our whole self, complete on the past and allow for our ever unfolding transformation.

Because when we change our fixed identity around who we are, we transform our inner and outer world.

I believe that when we tune in using intuition (which is far beyond the labels of society and what we’ve been told we should be), that is when we can really “be you to the full”… and that to me is far more exciting and expansive an adventure than the limits of a label.

Allowing for Blue Moon Transformation

The May Blue Moon brings depth, intensity, and transformation. So I invite you to be open: be in innocence (childlike awe and wonder), rather than fixed definitions, to allow for embodied transformation.
