What Has Been Bringing You JOY?

How has July been for you so far, and what has been bringing you JOY Ella?

For me, it was having my Mum visit me in Munich… It was fun showing her around the city, and realising how much my feelings for Munich have evolved from disliking it at the beginning of this journey into Rolfing, to really appreciating the beauty, the amazing nature… Even how organised it is!

While my Mum was with me in Munich, I brought her to see my mentor Marisol for a Rolfing session, and had one myself too an hour later… and that was so fascinating… more on that next month…

Another joy is that I will complete my Rolfing journey on the 30th of July (the day after this month’s Full Moon!) Wahoooo!!!!

The Full Moon of July: the Buck Moon is about growth, determination and progress, and this month’s themes ask what it means to love without losing yourself in the process… or be so set on progress that we are unable to listen to our truth… a theme that has come up in my coaching calls with clients, and in business this month.

What Have You Been Journeying?

I taught about knowing our own Domain: a part of the Wheel of Consent training inside The Goddxx Path container this month.

There are four steps for knowing our own domain:
Noticing what is happening in our body,
Trusting that what we notice is our truth.
Valuing it enough to let it matter.
Communicating it.

I also experienced this with Maya Gandaia, my clothing line… I have been so excited to launch in August and seeing the first prototypes… but I just had a feeling something wasn’t right… and then that was confirmed when I realised that the orgaisation I was making a deal with were emitting some vital details about how they were making my products that didn’t align with my company values…

And we were so close! I had deadlines I was about to meet, targets I could finally hit… but it din’t fel right… I kept thinking about Schumacher’s Small Is Beautiful, who argued against an economy obsessed with growth for its own sake, and made the case for work and business built on human scale and real values not numbers first…

Because a yes (or No) where we value our truth is a very different to a yes or no driven by numbers and targets…
