Historically, alchemy was first practised in ancient Kemet in Africa, as a way of connecting to the highest self and understanding one’s true purpose. It was passed through Egypt, Arabia, India, Greece and the rest of the world in varying forms. And at its heart, it has always been about one thing: the transformation of lead into gold.
Our lead is our limiting beliefs… the stories running in the background, the ones that make us feel like we need to be more, be better, or be ready before we can begin. Alchemy doesn’t ask us to fix those beliefs or run from them, but to shift our focus: from lead to gold, from illusion to joy, from stuck to sovereign.
